The Death of the AI Consultancy: Why Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) is Replacing 18-Month Retainers
October 2026
If you ask an AI researcher how to solve hallucinations, they suggest more training data or larger models. If you ask an enterprise systems engineer, they will tell you the truth: you solve hallucinations by stripping the model of unconstrained authority.
A generative model can suggest a transaction, but it cannot commit it. In our architecture, autonomous agents submit proposed state changes to a deterministic Finite State Machine (FSM) that verifies strict mathematical constraints.
$ scarpian-fsm transition --event invoice_matched --payload state.json [EVALUATION] State: PENDING_MATCH -> Transition: READY_FOR_SETTLEMENT [CONSTRAINT CHECK] Total debits == Total credits: TRUE [CONSTRAINT CHECK] Vendor tax ID matches IRS database: TRUE [RESULT] State transition PERMITTED. Non-conforming actions mathematically blocked.
If an agent produces an output that violates state invariants, the transition is rejected automatically, quarantined for human audit, and the agent's context is reset.
Every Scarpian deployment is backed by strict mathematical determinism, Zero-Idle Compute ($0.00 when traffic stops), and zero disruption to your daily operations.
Specialized software and infrastructure engineers deploying autonomous systems inside enterprise operations across North America and Latin America.
